2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black Unleashed

Triumph’s all-new Bonneville Bobber Black is the murdered version of the British company’s top-selling newly launched motorcycle. It’s “darker, meaner, and stronger” – including a handful of upgrades with his bad boy look. The Bobber itself has a lot of styling inherited from its aluminum floating seat and semi-rigid style swivel cage, to its drum brake-inspired rear hub. The Black Edition gives you all that retro goodness, in an aggressively stealthier package with premium detailing.

The 1197cc 6-speed, liquid-cooled Bonneville Bobber is powered by the Bonneville 1200HT (Euro 4) engine, tuned for 10% more torque in the lower range compared to the Bonneville T120. Its parallel twin produces 77.5 hp at 6,100 rpm and 106 NM of maximum torque at 4,000 rpm. The base model includes Road and Rain driving modes, switchable traction control, LED lights and ABS.

The new bike retains the old 17-inch rear wheel, a 255mm rear brake disc with a Nissan single-piston caliper, a KYB rear monoshock and classic metal spoked wheels. While a DRL-compatible headlamp is available as an option for the base Bobber, it is standard equipment for the Black. Another advantage of the Black over the base model is the addition of one-button cruise control.
