2023 Triumph Bonneville Bobber India Launch: Top 5 Highlights

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the 2023 Bonneville Bobber in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 12.05 lakh. Changes to the 2023 version are limited to styling updates in the form of a new paint scheme. Here we list the top five highlights of the 2023 Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

New color

The latest iteration of the Bonneville Bobber receives an updated color scheme that now includes four colors. Existing paint schemes like Jet Black, Cordovan Red and Matte Storm Gray with Matte Ironstone are now joined by the new Red Hopper color.

Prices

The motorcycle is available in only one variant. However, paint themes affect the ex-showroom prices of the Bonneville Bobber. Below are the prices per color for the 2023 Bonneville Bobber:

Jet Black: Rs 12,05,000

Red hopper: Rs 12,18,000

Red of Cordoba: Rs 12,18,000

Matte Storm Gray with Matte Ironstone: Rs 12,35,000

Design

Changes are limited to the updated paint theme. Styling elements, on the other hand, remain unchanged and the 2023 Bonneville Bobber retains a round headlight in the front, a semi-digital instrument panel, a teardrop fuel tank with a chrome filler cap, a reserved seat to the driver, a cut-away front and rear fender, a slash-cut design for both exhaust canisters, and wire-spoke wheels.

Engine

The mechanical specification also remains unchanged and the bike continues to use a 1200cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled, BS6 compliant engine. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, the engine produces 76.9 hp at 6,100 rpm and 106 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The company claims fuel economy of 22.2 kmpl while service intervals are scheduled at 16,000 km/12 months – whichever comes first.

Material

Hardware includes 47mm Showa front forks and a rear monoshock to handle suspension duties. The braking setup features twin discs with Brembo calipers up front and a single rotor with a Nissin caliper out back. The motorcycle rolls on 16-inch wheels at both ends. Other key dimensions include a seat height of 700mm, a fuel tank of 12 liters and an empty weight of 251kg.
