The old Royal Enfield platform is still one of the most versatile platforms we have ever seen. Most customizers use the frame of a Royal Enfield to build their custom motorcycle. Even some start-ups are using a chassis from a Royal Enfield to work on their new motorcycle. Here we have a Thunderbird 350 which has been modified to look like a bobber. Changes are made by Neev Motorcycles.

The modification makes the motorcycle unique. At first glance, you won’t even be able to tell it’s a Thunderbird 350. The store used three colors for the modified motorcycle. It gets a gray body, lots of chrome parts, and a blacked out engine.

The teardrop-shaped fuel tank is finished in the two-tone color of gray and glossy black. It uses an old-fashioned fuel tank cap. The front and rear fenders are finished in gray. The motor housing, kickstarter and motor headers are chrome while the rest of the motor is finished in black. Other elements like the exhaust, shocks, exhaust, handlebars, headlight and backrest are finished in chrome.

After the tank there is a custom seat finished in black leather. Being a bobber, he only gets one seat. Then there is the rear seatback which is only there for cosmetic purposes. There is a round LED tail light and turn signals. The bike uses chrome spoked rims with tires sourced from Timsun.

On the side there is an upward exhaust and the airbox looks like a tin can. The handlebars are a custom tall, wide unit. The front suspension is covered in chrome. Because the fenders have been shortened, the license plate is now placed on the left side just behind the shock absorber.

Mechanically the same

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 modified into a magnificent bobber

There are no mechanical changes to the engine. Thus, he obtains the 346 cm3 UCE engine which produces 20 PS of maximum power and a maximum torque of 28 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Braking functions are provided by a 280mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.

Royal Enfield Meteor replaced Thunderbird

Royal Enfield discontinued the Thunderbird when BS6 emission standards came into effect. Thunderbird has been replaced by the Meteor 350 which launched last year. The design of the Meteor is very similar to that of the Thunderbird. Meteor debuted with a brand new frame and a brand new engine.

It gets a new, stiffer and better down tube dual spine chassis than the old Thunderbird chassis. Due to the new chassis there is a huge improvement in the way the bike rides and handles now. It gets a brand new J-series engine which is still a 349cc unit, but it’s now air-oil cooled. The engine produces 20 hp of maximum power and 27 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with speed change.

The numbers may look similar on paper, but there’s a huge difference in how the new engine feels. There is no vibration even when you run the engine at full speed. The bike feels a lot greener and the engine is still torquey. The gearbox is also now much smoother and doesn’t get false neutrals.

Royal Enfield, the Chennai-based automaker, has become a cult. His fans don’t seem to mind another equally drool-worthy two-wheeler if there’s an Enfield ahead of them. But, to be honest, bikes are worth the fanaticism. While the stock models are quite appealing – Classic 350, Himalayan, Continental GT, Interceptor – the custom makeover of these stock models is breathtaking at times.

We present to you another breathtaking custom concept based on the Royal Enfield Continental GT650. Bringing to life an Indian modifier called Renovatio Motorworks, the Royal Enfield GT650’s new bobber avatar is dubbed “Old Lady”. The name has its roots in the fact that the design of this modified GT650 is built around the dynamics of a vintage bobber.

The bike is completely different from the original models, and that’s how you know the adjustments made are brutal but responsive. Dominated by shades of red, black and gold, even the color scheme induces a nostalgic feeling when looking at the bike. In addition, the front is fitted with a single shock absorber just below the instrument cluster, giving stability to the hands that will ride this sturdy beast.

Also watch:

The handlebars contain the LED turn signal, as well as the exterior mirrors. The fuel tank has been redesigned to accommodate the dynamics of the bobber. The seat is also replaced with brown curved seats for a single occupant. The alloys are coated with gold and complement the black rubber and silver disc brakes. The double rear suspensions match the color of the seat, acting as a bridge between the transformation of the color scheme. The engine receives matte black upholstery, among the all-chrome powertrain components. The exhaust is also custom made, with a narrow body and a wide muzzle. However, the interior powertrain remains the same 648cc, twin-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled, producing 52Nm of torque and 47bhp of power.

Royal Enfield 500cc motorcycles including Classic, Bullet and Thunderbird were discontinued after BS6 emission standards came into effect

Royal Enfield motorcycles are among the most custom motorcycles in the aftermarket industry. A sturdy frame allows designers to modify them in a whole new configuration. This is further facilitated by simple and pragmatic retro designs of the base models.

Delhi-based aftermarket parts shop Neev Motorcycles have created many custom Royal Enfield bikes that have a unique makeup while retaining the classic Royal Enfield features underneath. Another motorcycle of this type was designed and conceptualized by Neev which reminds us of the good old choppers of Western markets.

Royal Enfield Classic Bobber Zeus – Design Improvements

The donor model used in this case is a Classic 500 which has been converted to a bobber. The bike at the start looks outrageous and something extraordinary and therefore was aptly named after the Greek god “Zeus”. Going into detail, the bike has been fitted with a unique fuel tank design that reinforces it with intricate curves to add a glimpse of novelty to its styling.

As is evident, the bike features minimal body panels which give it a clean look. He wears a beautiful two-tone custom paint with shiny black and matte silver. The exhaust has been designed and made from stainless steel which looks premium and lovely.

Other bespoke parts include finely crafted handlebars, toolbox, and fenders that are aesthetically pleasing. All of the components mentioned above were built by hand.

The front and rear fenders have been shortened while the front forks have been covered with aluminum bars. At the rear, the folks at Neev incorporated a longer swingarm which is attached to the presumably original twin shocks.

Other handcrafted accessories include a carburetor cover, wheel covers and a new leather seat. Components such as the headlight, taillight, turn signals, mirrors and a single housing instrument console are premium aftermarket accessories.

Mechanical specifications

There aren’t many details regarding the motorcycle’s engine, so it’s assumed that the original powertrain is in place. This 499cc air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine produced 27 hp at 5,250 rpm and peak torque of 41.3 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic front fork and two gas shocks at the rear.

Braking is provided by a 280mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc or drum at the rear. The motorcycle runs on original 18-inch metal spoked wheels with larger tires. With an increase in diameter and a new swingarm, the wheelbase of the original Classic 500 has been slightly lengthened.

Remember the Hyosung GV300S bobber that looked like a scaled-down version of the Harley-Davidson Iron 883? Well, the Korean bicycle maker has now unveiled a new ‘Fashion’ series with some bright colors and some mechanical improvements. The bike will officially debut in select overseas markets on September 28.

The Hyosung GV300S will now be available in five new colors: Pearl Black, Ore Silver, Magic Yellow, Caribbean Blue and Rose Red. These colors contrast sharply with the sinister all-black color of the previous model.

Hyosung has now gone from the partial digital instrument console to a new LCD display with a gear position indicator and even an overspeed indicator. The negative backlit instrument console gives a premium touch to the V-twin bobber.

In addition to the modern instrument console, the Hyosung GV300S also receives all LED lighting all around, with sequential LED indicators. The Korean bike maker even moved the ignition key from the handlebars to the side of the bike for a more authentic cruiser look. In addition, customers can now choose to buy it as a single-seater or a two-seater.

The changes to the Hyosung GV300S aren’t just superficial. By increasing the size of the air filter, Hyosung was able to extract eight percent more torque from the GV300S. Now the 296cc V-twin is 30.5 hp and 27.6 Nm (2 Nm more than the previous model). The company also claims that the low to medium range growl has been improved.

Even the basics have been updated. The new 51mm telescopic fork replaces the 35mm telescopic fork. While Hyosung has yet to reveal details of the braking setup, it is likely that it has also been revised. Hyosung even replaced the alloy rims with cross-spoke rims shod with Timsum tires.

The Chinese market has seen a lot of action in the 300cc cruiser segment, with Benda BD300 and the Qianjiang SRV300 on the market. While the Hyosung GV300S fashion series will debut later this month in China, this bike is unlikely to be available in our market.

New Indian Chief, Bobber and Super Chief bikes launched in India

Indian Motorcycle has finally launched the new Chief range in India at 20.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The Chief range includes the Indian Chief Dark Horse, Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse and Indian Super Chief Limited models. The U.S. motorcycle maker unveiled the updated Indian Chief lineup earlier this year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Chief brand in its lineup. The company then started accepting reservations for the three bikes in India in March this year for a symbolic amount of 3 lakh. So clearly the Indian Chief range launched in India took a considerable amount of time, but we can attribute it to the second wave of COVID-19.

Lalit Sharma, Country Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The Chief is a sacred brand that has a glorious history and has attracted a steadfast fan over the years and across the world. As a tribute to this brand on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, we have launched the new Chief range of today’s motorcycles that will thrill all cruiser enthusiasts in India with their technological prowess, timeless elegance and modern performance. “

The new Indian Chief Dark Horse, Bobber and Super Chief Limited are reminiscent of old-fashioned touring motorcycles and promise a thrilling ride. They are all fitted with a rear fender, dual exhaust and Pirelli Night Dragon tires. The Chief and Bobber feature premium gloss black finishes, while the Super Chief Limited features premium chrome finishes.

The new Indian Chief Dark Horse adopts minimalist styling and aims to deliver a stripped-down riding experience while the Bobber sports the vintage design highlighted by such elements as metal spoke rims, a large rear tire, a muscular front end and a bobber seat. As for the Indian Super Chief Limited, it is designed to take on long journeys and has a windshield, saddlebags, traditional cruiser handlebars, a full chrome exhaust and running boards.

The Indian Chief 2021 range is equipped with a round TFT instrument cluster for all necessary displays and smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and telephony. The bikes also feature LED lighting, keyless ignition, cruise control and three riding modes: sport, standard and tour. All three bikes are based on a tubular steel frame and use a 1,890cc Thunderstroke V-twin engine that produces 162Nm of maximum torque. The suspension setup includes a 46mm front fork with 132mm of wheel travel and two preload-adjustable exterior rear shocks.

Jawa 650cc Bobber – Render

After a scrambler and Adv, Jawa Europe could plan to add a bobber to its portfolio as well

From observations of Jawa branded versions of Bristol motorcycles, it is evident that the two entities have some form of agreement between them. Bristol Motorcycles is a Philippines based company that manufactures several bikes in the 250cc to 650cc segment.

Bristol Motorcycles is barely three years old and started operations in 2018. The Jawa-Bristol deal could be something similar to what Jawa has with Classic Legends backed by Mahindra selling Jawa motorcycles in the Indian market.

Bristol Bobber based Jawa 650 – key features

Previously we had seen rebadged versions of Bristol Veloce 500 and Bristol Venturi 500. In their Jawa branded versions they are called RVR500 and RVM500 respectively. While Veloce is a scrambler, Venturi appears as an Adv motorcycle. Original Bristol and their rebadged Jawa versions are largely the same. This is probably the case with Bristol Bobber as well.

Speaking of the Bristol Bobber 650, the bike sports a retro look and feel. Some key features include a round headlight and mirrors, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, turn signals and taillight, one-piece seat, and wide rear fender.

Jawa 500cc Scrambler
Jawa 500cc Scrambler

The use of wire wheels further enhances the retro taste of the motorcycle. The handlebars are placed in an ergonomic position, which should ensure comfortable rides for most users. Customers can choose from black, dark gray, light gray, and red color options.

For European markets, Jawa-branded Bristol Bobber could get a new set of color options. Another likely change could relate to engine emissions. As Europe currently follows Euro 5 emission standards, the bicycle must comply with these standards. If emission standards in the Philippines do not match Euro 5 standards, the engine and exhaust system may need to be modified accordingly.

Bristol Bobber engine and specifications

The Bristol Bobber is powered by a liquid-cooled, 8-valve, twin DOHC parallel engine. It is capable of generating 69 hp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 62 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm. It is coupled to a 6-speed transmission.

Jawa 500cc Adventure Motorcycle
Jawa 500cc Adventure Motorcycle

The bike is 2,245mm in length, 940mm in width, 1,040mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,505mm. The seat height and ground clearance are respectively 740 mm and 130 mm. It weighs 225 kg and can carry 14.5 liters of fuel. The fuel consumption is 16 kmpl and the rated maximum speed is 165 km / h.

The suspension system includes KYB telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks at the rear. Braking functions are provided by a 345mm disc at the front and a 280mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard.

Bristol motorcycles or their rebadged versions are unlikely to be launched in India. Classic Legends managed Jawa India, however, may choose to introduce a larger capacity bobber or other motorcycles to the Indian market. Yezdi RoadKing is one such product that is expected to launch in India soon. The company is also reportedly working on relaunching the BSA brand, which will target the UK market. The first 650cc BSA motorcycle was recently spied on during testing in Pune.

Royal Enfield is the Indian market leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment. The brand has a large number of fans in our country, thanks to its rich heritage. Additionally, there is a solid aftermarket support available for its motorcycles, and as such customizations and modifications are extremely common among RE bike owners.

Here we bring you such a modified Royal Enfield motorcycle, which has been transformed into a magnificent bobber. Built by Customs Bulleteer, this bike has many changes in design. Up front we see an aftermarket LED headlight, as well as the Royal Enfield tiger eyes. We also see a small front fender and large turn signals here.

The fuel tank receives custom logos, as well as beautifully designed gold stripes. Stepping back, we see a unique bespoke seat, in beige leather with diamond patterns. The airbox and sideboxes also get custom logos, which look extremely cool. The frame of the bike has been modified at the rear part and here we see a rear fender mounted on a swing arm.

Royal Enfield modified custom bulleteer 2

The rear suspension consists of two gas rear shock absorbers, which are finished in black and chrome. The rear turn signals also consist of large amber bulbs, which add an old-school touch to the design. The motorcycle is equipped with spare wire spoked wheels at both ends, shod with block tires. The license plate holder and taillight are now mounted on the left swingarm.

The bike also receives a custom paint job, with shades of emerald green, dark green, and black. As for the engine, the cylinder was painted black, while the crankcase, gearbox, etc., were all polished in high-gloss chrome. Here is an old Royal Enfield Bullet, powered by a cast iron engine.

Royal Enfield modified customs bulleteer 3

Although Royal Enfield is now turning to modern technology, many believe that the older, relatively technology-free models were the best. The older cast iron Bullets, available in 350cc and 500cc engine sizes, were difficult to operate and maintain, but had a muffled sound that resonated in the hearts of enthusiasts. Overall, we’re completely won over by the styling of this custom Bullet RE-based bobber.

Thornton Hundred Triumph Bonneville Bobber Hill Climb

The video is complemented by b-rolls from the event, which showcases awesome cars and other motorcycles. There is something to enjoy in every second of this four minute video. We covered a similar showcase, then the team from Thornton Hundred took to the drag race on a bike.

Looking closely at the clips of the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, you’ll find that the bike is barely able to maintain full-throttle traction. Even with the massive rear wheel, the Triumph seems to be wiggling a bit out of line, and all for good reason.

The Bobber is what Thornton Hundred claims to be the fastest Bonneville Bobber in the world. In its original form, the bike makes 77 hp, which is by no means this slow. However, Thornton specializes in British twin-cylinder motorcycles and is known for making some of the most exciting builds in the UK custom scene.

Upgrades include a compressor and a nitrous kit. The boost alone takes the bike’s power levels up to 160hp, while the nitrous kit takes it to 200hp. On top of that, the bike lets out a satisfying and powerful twin-cylinder exhaust note that is deep and I wish I could hear it in person.

Now it may seem like the bike only has a few snippets in the video, and if YouTube comments are anything to go by, a lot of people want to see even more of its acceleration, cornering ability and how good it is. exhilarating ride on video. Admit I wanted to see a helmet cam one, but it looks like Thornton could give people what they want, or you can get a custom Bobber for yourself.

Where do you get ideas for your new cycling projects? Inspiration can come from anywhere, and if you’re the French Indian Motorcycle Metz dealer you’re totally cool that it comes from more than one place at a time. Take their two most recent versions of Scout Bobber, which took place simultaneously.

To celebrate the sale of a record 100 bikes in a single year, the Lorraine, France-based store built the aptly named Hundred. Breaking 100 is more than just a sales number, so the store has relied on American drag bikes to refine those multiple levels to hundreds.

It took a set of Biltwell handlebars and reversed them. Then, the shop further refined the ergonomics with a saddle kit and a Wunderkind riser. Performance mods include a fully open intake fitted with a Trask Performance air filter and a Freedom performance exhaust. Samco reinforced water hoses keep everything cool under pressure.

Arnott air shocks are the rear suspension setup, and the Hundred rides on a set of Revtech wheels wrapped in Avon Cobra Chrome rubber. On the braking side, a set of Galfer petal discs allow you to stop when and where you want. AR Performance paint specialists applied the Lamborghini Orange finish with seven coats of varnish, including a final coat of ceramic.

Indian Motorcycle Metz’s second Scout Bobber is all about an overall old-fashioned aesthetic. The store said their main goal was to keep everything simple, with clean lines taking pride of place throughout. It reached the Indian Motorcycle accessory catalog for some blackened levers, as well as grips and floors. Then she ordered a custom solo saddle from Leathers Joff the Bearded.

Another Arnott air suspension setup was fitted to the Red Wings, along with a 200 section rear tire that required a custom rear fender made by Indian Motorcycle Metz. German metal specialists Blechfee built the front of the Springer beam on the Red Wings. Metz also installed a lenticular headlamp setup, Kellerman indicators and Klock Werks handlebars to complete the front end.

Of course, no motorcycle makeover would be complete without a great paint job. So Metz once again asked AR Performance to apply a gorgeous Apple Candy paint job to really play out that shiny job. The result, complemented by the Monza filler cap, lends a certain timeless and classic appeal. It’s not a vintage Scout, of course, but it’s a modern Scout Bobber that pays homage to its roots.

Indian AD Customs are familiar with the Royal Enfield Classic 350. From scramblers to cafe racers, the timeless yet versatile model provided the perfect canvas for the custom shop’s creations. More recently, the Gujarat-based garage took a different direction with the Classic 350, turning the understated Enfield into a vintage-style bobber affectionately named Tribal 350.

In keeping with bobber conventions, AD Customs converted the Classic 350 twin-shock chassis to a semi-rigid frame and “coiled” the rear fender. The strut mounted mudguard and unique diamond stitched spring loaded saddle not only abides by the rules of the bobber, but also eliminates passenger accommodation in the process. At the other end, a beam fork fitted with a bespoke cantilever suspension provides a semblance of comfort.

A custom-mounted single round headlight sits on the front end of the beam, lining up to retro cosmetics with a yellow lens and headlight grille. In the cockpit, custom risers attach to a set of offset flat bars. To streamline the Tribal 350’s silhouette, AD Customs moved the speedometer to the starboard side of the gas tank. The original equipment retains the ease of use of the Classic 350, but leather grips and a black fuel cap bring the cockpit back in time.

Metal spoked wheels, engine trims and frame also receive the same all-black treatment. However, the silver fuel cell is distinguished by the marks AD Customs and Royal Enfield. In true bobber style, the Tribal 350 also features a side taillight, old-fashioned tires and a new hot-rolled exhaust system.

Although AD Customs mainly focused on the styling of the Classic 350, the store left the center stand intact for convenience. Performance also remains the same with a single disc front brake and rear drum brake still slowing the 19 horsepower Royal Enfield to a standstill. Yes, AD Customs is familiar with the Classic 350, but they’ve never built one with this level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
