Royal Enfield Bobber 350 under development, launching 2022

2022 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Review 3
All of the company’s 350cc bikes will be based on the ‘J’ platform

The Royal Enfield Bobber 350 is expected to launch by the end of 2022

Royal Enfield has a handful of new projects in its kitty, among them a Bobber based on the new generation Classic 350.

According to recent developments, the 350cc bobber from the manufacturer Bullet has been internally named J1H. Being a bobber, it will feature only one saddle and high handlebars.

Interestingly, the Royal Enfield Bobber 350 is said to have whitewall tyres! If so, that would be something. Since the bike will be based on the 2021 Classic 350, it should have similar gearing and specs to the entry-level cruiser.

Scheduled to launch by the end of 2022, this would become the most expensive 350cc offering from the premium middleweight bike maker.

Additionally, Enfield is also developing the Scram 411, Super Meteor and Himalayan 650

But it’s not the only 350cc motorcycle that Royal Enfield will launch next year. The firm is known to be working on the Hunter 350 (codename – J1C1) which will be a retro styled roadster.

Additionally, another version of the Hunter, codenamed J1C2, likely to be a more stripped down variant is also in development. Once launched, this motorcycle is expected to become Enfield’s most affordable offering in India.

And finally, there will be the new generation Bullet 350, which is codenamed J1B. It will replace the very popular current generation Bullet 350 and 350 ES.

All of these bikes will see the light of day before the Bobber 350 is introduced to the market and should help the brand maintain its dominance in the segment which is expected to become more crowded with the arrival of Yezdi bikes and more models from Honda.
