Stif launches a new Squatch 29 “steel semi-rigid

British brand Stif has announced its latest steel hardtail. After creating the Morf four years ago, he has now introduced the 130mm 29 “wheeled Squatch.

Stif has spent the last three years designing and developing their first 29 “hardtail to have the same feel as their wheeled little brother the Morf. Equipped with a 130mm short offset fork, tube angle Of 78 ° saddle and a fairly loose steering angle of 64 °, they created a bike that they say is “Well Bastard Fast”.

Over the past 4 years we have seen our original steel hardtail, the Morf, challenge trends and changing standards to remain a favorite and cult legend. Today we’re excited to introduce its 29-inch wheeled brother, the Squatch.

Built from Morf’s DNA and refined over 3 years of design and development, the flirtatious and playful origins of the Squatch shine through despite its larger wheels and progressive numbers. The Squatch challenges to be ranked in any discipline, it’s ready for anywhere you want to take it.

The Squatch comes in three different options with a choice of £ 599 frame and two versions to choose from. The lower version costs £ 1,899 and uses SRAM’s NX Eagle drivetrain and Rockshox Pike Select + forks. The premium professional version sells for £ 2,499 and sees upgrades throughout the specification. The fork is bumped against the silver Pike Ultimate fork, the drivetrain is changed to GX Eagle and the DT Swiss 370 hubs are swapped out for Hope Pro 4s

In addition to offering the frame-only option and two full versions, Stif also created three different color options for the Squatch with the Bone, Teal, and Silver options. For sizes, the Stif again went for three choices with a medium, large and extra-large offer. The reach goes from 460 mm on the medium to 480 mm in large and 500 mm in the largest.
