The New Fezzari Lone Peak Youth Hardtail is a $ 999 Kid’s Bike with 24 “of Fun
If we want kids to get into mountain biking, decent bikes are a good place to start. Fezzari offers a new 24-inch kids’ version of his Lone Peak hardtail for young riders, which includes geometry and components that will get them off to a good start, and it all sells for $ 999.
With 24 2.6-inch tubeless tires and 80mm of air-suspended travel up front, this little alloy bike should give kids some good grip. There’s a 12-speed SRAM Eagle drivetrain to make climbs more bearable, and a set of disc brakes to regulate the fun-meter on the descent. It is also compatible with the dropper, if needed. While the brand doesn’t share the overall weight of the bike, they say the frame is made of a light alloy which should help.
Lone Peak bikes are available in one size, with Tiger’s Blood or Sagebrush Blue paint. The brand has done well to keep the kids on the right side of the handlebars with a 67 ° head tube angle. The looser 73 ° seat tube angle will help lengthen the effective length of the bike’s top tube as children grow older and the saddle rises higher. The 350mm reach and 536mm stack height should work for most youngsters for several seasons.
This latest bike from Fezzari is expected to start shipping in early September.
