The Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black Edition 2018 looks like WWII

Yes, you guessed it, the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black is all about macho styling and obscurity, thanks to a plethora of fully blacked out details and finishes. You can count on a black exhaust, a brake pedal and footrests, a gear lever and linkage, brake and clutch levers, black bars and risers, a seat, engine covers, a headlight rim and even wheel hubs.

Believe it or not, the Bobber Black can be offered in two color configurations, namely the classic gloss black or the more sleek and modern matte black.

Most of the other elements are kept, but the Bobber Black makes some improvements. Most importantly, a new Showa 47mm cartridge front fork, offering 90mm of travel on the front wheel for improved feel and feedback. Speaking of wheels, the front wheel is a new 16 inch big wheel with classic metal spokes.

Power comes from the 1200cc 77 horsepower and 106 Nm High Torque engine from before, and everything is controlled by standard abs with a class-leading Brembo two-piston dual calipers installed at the front, a single disc with a single piston at the rear.

An easy-to-use, one-button cruise control is offered as standard, as well as an electric throttle, two drive modes, switchable traction control, assisted clutch and immobilizer system with the transponder incorporated in the key Triumph brand.

Another cool new feature is the headlight, which now uses full LED technology with Triumph’s signature LD daytime running light. Keep in mind that the latter’s availability is governed by local law, so you might not get it.

Last but not least, the 2018 Bonneville Bobber Black can be further personalized with one of the more than 120 Triumph accessories for more style, improved comfort or performance.
