This Bollywood actor bought Harley-Davidson Sportster S
Harley-Davidson is one of the most popular motorcycles among celebrities in India, especially among actors. And there is another addition to this club; Siddhant Chaturvedi has become the last Indian actor to own a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The actor, who shot to fame with Gully Boy, revealed on social media that he bought a Harley-Davidson Sportster S motorcycle. He bought the roadster in Vivid Black. The Sportster S is currently the second most powerful bike in the American brand’s iconic range and was launched in India last year. It fetches a price of ₹15.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Harley-Davidson Sportster S is powered by the Revolution Max 1252cc V-twin engine developing 121hp and 125Nm of peak torque. The same engine, used on the Pan America, develops 150 hp and 128 Nm. This makes it the second most powerful HD motorcycle. This Sportster is mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and assist.
The Sportster S comes with features like three pre-programmed riding modes (rain, road and sport), two custom riding modes, cornering ABS, drag torque slip control, tire pressure, six-axis inertial measurement unit, Bluetooth for smartphone connectivity and a four-inch TFT instrument console.
Along with a powerful engine and a host of electronic aids, the Sportster S also comes with some impressive hardware. Suspension duties on the bike are provided by a 43mm Showa inverted fork with compression, rebound and spring preload adjustment in combination with a linkage-mounted stacked monoshock that can be adjusted for compression , rebound and preload. Braking hardware, meanwhile, includes 320mm front and 260mm rear disc brakes with ABS.
