This Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 modified as a Bobber will reign over your heart
Royal Enfield, the Chennai-based automaker, has become a cult. His fans don’t seem to mind another equally drool-worthy two-wheeler if there’s an Enfield ahead of them. But, to be honest, bikes are worth the fanaticism. While the stock models are quite appealing – Classic 350, Himalayan, Continental GT, Interceptor – the custom makeover of these stock models is breathtaking at times.
We present to you another breathtaking custom concept based on the Royal Enfield Continental GT650. Bringing to life an Indian modifier called Renovatio Motorworks, the Royal Enfield GT650’s new bobber avatar is dubbed “Old Lady”. The name has its roots in the fact that the design of this modified GT650 is built around the dynamics of a vintage bobber.
The bike is completely different from the original models, and that’s how you know the adjustments made are brutal but responsive. Dominated by shades of red, black and gold, even the color scheme induces a nostalgic feeling when looking at the bike. In addition, the front is fitted with a single shock absorber just below the instrument cluster, giving stability to the hands that will ride this sturdy beast.
The handlebars contain the LED turn signal, as well as the exterior mirrors. The fuel tank has been redesigned to accommodate the dynamics of the bobber. The seat is also replaced with brown curved seats for a single occupant. The alloys are coated with gold and complement the black rubber and silver disc brakes. The double rear suspensions match the color of the seat, acting as a bridge between the transformation of the color scheme. The engine receives matte black upholstery, among the all-chrome powertrain components. The exhaust is also custom made, with a narrow body and a wide muzzle. However, the interior powertrain remains the same 648cc, twin-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled, producing 52Nm of torque and 47bhp of power.
