Triumph Bonneville 2021 range unveiled: Modifications on Street Twin, T100, T120, Bobber, Speedmaster listed!
The Triumph Bonneville range is getting better for 2021 and modern classics like Speedmaster, Bobber, T100, T120 and Street Twin have received substantial updates. Here’s what all changed!
The new Triumph Bonneville 2021 range has been unveiled worldwide and the same is expected to arrive on Indian shores very soon. The British motorcycle manufacturer has sold up to 3.67 lakh Bonnevilles till date since the year 2001. Now in the new 2021 range, motorcycles that have found their way include – Street Twin, T100, T120, T120 Black, Speedmaster and the Bobber. Additionally, the company introduced a new Street Twin Limited edition called Gold Line. The new models will hit dealerships in most countries by March 2021. Additionally, Triumph Motorcycles has confirmed that the new Speed Twin is on the way and will be unveiled soon. Triumph’s Scrambler range is also getting an update for 2021 and the same will be unveiled in April 2021. So let’s take a look at each model in the new 2021 Bonneville family and here we tell you what has changed about each of them.
Triumph Street Twin 2021
The Street Twin is the best-selling model in the Bonneville range and to commemorate its success the company has also unveiled a new special edition of the bike called the Street Twin Gold Line which will be limited to 1,000 units. As the name suggests, said model gets a special treatment with gold accents and a black color scheme. Additionally, the new 2021 model gets a more comfortable seat fitted with deeper foam as well as new molded wheels with machined details. Additionally, the standard model comes with a higher service interval of 16,000 km and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
Triumph Bonneville T100 2021
The new Triumph Bonneville T100 also receives significant updates for 2021. To be precise, the bike now offers 10hp more power to 64hp while peak torque is rated at 80Nm. The company claims the engine is now more responsive and that its red line is now advanced by 500 rpm. The bike is not only more powerful than before, it is also 4 kg lighter. The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 now gets new cartridge forks as well as a new, more capable Brembo front brake. You also get a new instrument face as well as new black powder coated engine and cam covers.
2021 Triumph Bonneville T120, T120 Black
Speaking of the new 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 and T120 Black, the bikes feature the same 1200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces the same 85bhp and 105nm of torque as before. The new 2021 models are now 7 kg lighter than the respective outgoing models, which is also due to new lightweight aluminum rims. In addition, both bikes are equipped with higher performance Brembo brakes and twin discs and a new cruise control system is now fitted as standard. Instrumentation is also new, and you get 116 optional accessories with the new T120 and T120 Black.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber 2021
Now, when it comes to the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber 2021, the motorcycle now comes with a bigger fuel tank of 12 liters. Plus, you now get more capable Brembo brakes, Showa forks, and the front end now features a new 16-inch wheel. The bike also features new black powder coated motor, cam and sprocket covers. The style of the instrument cluster has also been tweaked. In addition, the engine of the new Bobber 2021 is now made more responsive with reduced inertia.
Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster 2021
Last but not least, the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster also sees some minor changes for 2021. The bike now comes with more capable Showa 47mm cartridge forks. The seats have also been reworked to offer better comfort to the driver and the passenger and the style of the instrument cluster has also been improved. In addition, the bike now comes with no less than 79 optional accessories. The new 2021 Speedmaster is still powered by a 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which is good at producing 77hp of power with 106Nm of torque.
