Video: Yoann Barelli puts Guerrilla Gravity’s all-new hardtail to the test
From stiff slabs to big drops, Yoann has shown the Pedalhead lines a semi-rigid that you only dream of. From the video, it seems the two get along really well.
Here is the bike as mounted in the video. It wouldn’t be a real Barelli bike without some signature styling, but the frame itself was a standard production issue.
Like all GG bikes, every Pedalhead is handcrafted right here in Denver, Colorado. Pictured here John, our senior welder with over three decades of frame manufacturing experience. We love the way the Pedalhead juxtaposes our high-tech Revved frames, providing a tie-in to our roots of hand-welded frames.
For Yoann’s frame, he opted for the new leveraged legs. Building on GG’s signature modular approach, the Pedalhead has incorporated this focused design with the modular legs of the Pedalhead to allow you to seamlessly convert your gear setup to a single speed platform or vice versa.
The custom square tube set helps Yoann stay in control on steep slopes. Updated for the V2 Pedalhead, the tube set adds even more lateral stiffness, improving performance in turns and pedals, while adding vertical compliance for a smoother overall ride feel.
It’s a hardtail made in the USA, but the modern geometry of the Pedalhead is designed to have fun and go fast no matter where you are.
